John performs regularly with the Tempest Quartet in concerts organised by Live Music Now!
The scheme exists to promote the enjoyment and experience of live music amongst people who would not normally have access to it. The quartet has worked particularly with adults and children with learning difficulties.

Concerts are interactive and varied, introducing anything from jazz to classical music, from tangos to african songs. Audience members often clap, sing, dance and even conduct the quartet!
